Terms of Service

What LinkUp is

LinkUp is an online platform that lets farms list their produce and lets buyers discover, reserve and collect it. LinkUp is not a party to any sale. We do not buy, own, store, inspect, transport or resell any produce. Each sale is a direct agreement between the buyer and the farm.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid mobile number to use the Service. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.

Farms and listings

• Listings must be accurate about product, quantity, quality, price, availability and location.
• Farm owners are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to what they sell, including food-safety and licensing requirements.
• Farmers set their own prices. Market references shown by LinkUp are for information only.

Reservations and collection

A reservation is a request to hold a quantity. It is confirmed only when the farmer accepts it. Buyers should collect within the agreed time, and farmers should keep confirmed quantities available. Payment is made directly between buyer and farmer.

Your content

You own the content you post. You give LinkUp a non-exclusive licence to display it within the Service and to use it in promoting the Service. You must not post content that is false, unlawful, offensive or that infringes the rights of others.

Ratings and conduct

Ratings and reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove content or suspend accounts involved in fraud, fake listings, fake reviews, harassment or misuse of the Service.

Fees

The Service is currently free. If we introduce fees, we will tell you in advance, and they will not apply to past transactions.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LinkUp is not liable for the quality, safety or legality of produce, for any dispute between users, or for indirect losses arising from use of the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
